BUENO
Bueno “El Kiger Caballo” is the lead alpha horse in our big herd. Bueno came to us from the Kiger Riddle Mountains in southeast Oregon where he lived as a wild mustang before being caught by the BLM. He is 26 years old and stands out from the rest of the herd due to his beautiful grullo coat and black dorsal stripe. Bueno has had a tough life and bears many scars, both physical and emotional, from previous abuse. However, he has been a staple for our big herd for over ten years and is slowly starting to get more comfortable around people, especially those who have a persuasive carrot in hand.
